Museum Critique # 1 The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art was a very exquisite building. I first sight the tall(a) columns in the depend of the building. The columns had the flap at of the Ionic columns and the capital of the Doric columns as we study in chapter two. When I first walked in I was greeted by a juvenility lady who looked about the same age as me. The two-year-old girl asked if I had a student ID and I replied yes and placeed my identification. I paid five dollars to tour the museum, she handed me a clip board that I could use to place my mark out on to take notes. On the first dump I walked into the gathering of Mr. Fred D. Bentley, Sr. to provide some solid ground on Mr. Bentley, He has been a collector of American wile for approximately 55 years. He focused on broadly speaking American art before it was appreciated by virtually collectors. I would describe his battle array to be eclectic. He had a wide of the mark range of artwork in his collection. T he collection varied from portraits, landscapes, engraves, silent life, and Native American. One of my favorite pieces from his collection was the small sculpture titled Neighboring Pews.
